Hey thanks man! I was just now having issues with the preview/final images and the whole uploading of gif vs png (the png thumbnail just looked crap being an optimised jpeg shot of a simple coloured gif!?). But, after a few deletes, I’m getting the hang of things now (touch wood) and the first of my pixel ‘creatures’ are finally up! Now to animate the buggers… ;-]
I have a soft spot for pixel art, I love eboy's stuff. I used to make Amiga games back in the early 90's and have always retained a passion for it, it's very skilled to make something that small look so cool and you did a top job.
Another World on the Amiga 500 was and still is one of my favourite games (in top 5 games for me I'd say). And yeah, eBoy is very, very good! I’ve been spending time looking on pixeljoint.com for inspiration of late but have not joined. Maybe when I get more practice and stuff done first… Oh, pixeljam.com rock too for simple, but perfect pixel sprites!
